Facing the astonishing string marriage of the West African kamalé n'goni and the Indian sitar, the transverse flute acts as a bridge… allowing us to tell, through music, the possibility of another world of meetings and harmony.
The family show Terre(s) nomade(s) offers an exploration of the music of ancient Gondwana, the supercontinent that once united India, Africa and South America.

Brazilian percussion fanfare born at the conservatory of Maizières-lès-Metz. The repertoire is composed of traditional Brazilian rhythms and songs but is also inspired by music from other countries and continents (India, Africa…) as well as contemporary music (funk, rock…)
Musical Walk
Accompanied by a kamalé n'goni (harp, West Africa), kalimbas (lamellaphone, Zimbabwe), a berimbau (Brazilian musical bow) … and my humble* vocal cords, I will take you on a low-cost journey through the countryside. Itinerary and number of musical pauses to be arranged with the organisers.

A crossroads of several worlds around Reno Daniaud's chaturangui.

Thanks to their respective journeys, Reno and Dhamien have chosen to incorporate other musical influences into the Moods repertoire… The tablas are surrounded by gourds, senza, udu, jaw harps… while the chaturangui flirts with Creole colours, giving this pentatonic scale a blues fragrance…
Moods draws on and is inspired by the Indian musical landscape, borrowing its codes and techniques… and slides in a particular flavour made of world music, from the world of music. Freedom to play with notes, with time. Spinning this rhythmic refrain and losing oneself in it. Dialoguing, exchanging. Stopping. Finding the resonance. Then setting off again.

This duo also offers Indian singing workshops. Discovering the voice through Indian music, harmonic singing and Konnakol.
These workshops offer vocal work through the singing of vowels, their harmonic resonance, and an introduction to Indian musical vocabulary as well as rhythmic work with Konnakol, a phonetic system from South India.
